Protecting our Land and Water

Decades of pollution have impacted surface and groundwater in the Cherokee Nation causing concern about the future of our water and our communities. To tackle this issue we will invest in communities that have already been impacted so no Cherokee community is left behind.

  • Signed the $120 million Housing Jobs and Sustainability Act and invested in energy-efficient homes for Cherokee families
  • Expanded use of Electric Cars and Buses in Cherokee Nation
  • Historic investment in natural resources creating new parks and preserves
  • Signed the Mankiller/Soap Act.
